Total Restoration of a 1730 House In the small Town Of Danville, NH
The c.1730 house was originally built as one room deep. About c. 1750 an addition was added along the back of the original structure. the original tie beams can be seen in the attic with the original rafter mortise still intact. The addition tie beams were spliced together with a half lap joint and pegged together.
