Project Info

Sunset Hill Barn

This is a barn built circa 1890. It is on Appleton farms in Ipswich MA,and we were hired to restore it. We determined that the insect damage was so extensive that a rebuild was necessary. We recycled all the material that we were able. The new timbers came from trees on site. We built a new timber frame to mimic the original and we restored the original doors. We put on new cedar siding and roofing.
