Sculpture Restoration

Sculpture restoration requires first an understanding of the material, whether wood, stone, cast metal, molded sheet metal, or cast stone or concrete, and the technical skills required to repair, restore and stabilize the work. In addition, sculpting or carving skills are necessary to reproduce missing or damaged molded elements. These are the skills of the artist as well as the artisan.
